ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਭਲਾ ਮੈਂ 100 ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਇਹ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਪਰੋਸ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ!” ਪਰ ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਤੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਦੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਖਾਣ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਫ਼ਰਮਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਖਾਣਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਬਾਕੀ ਹੀ ਛੱਡਣਗੇ ਰੋਟੀਆਂ ਥੁੜਣਗੀਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ।”
