ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦਾ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ’ਚ ਆਉਣਾ ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਾਬਲ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਇਆ। ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਤਿੰਨ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਦਾਸ ਬਣਿਆ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਉਸਤੋਂ ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਬਾਗ਼ੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਤੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੋੜਕੇ ਬੇਮੁਖ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।

ਦਾਨੀਏਲ ਦਾ ਬਾਬਲ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਜਾਣਾ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਬਾਬਲ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਸੀ। ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਆਇਆ। ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨਾਲ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰਾ ਪਾ ਲਿਆ। ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਉਦੋਂ ਵਾਪਰੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਦਾ ਤੀਸਰਾ ਵਰ੍ਹਾ ਸੀ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦਾਂਗਾ” ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੈ-“ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦਾਂਗਾ। ਉਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਸੱਦ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਵੀ ਸੱਦ ਬੁਲਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਧਰਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਲਈ ਸਖਣੇ ਮਾਰੂਬਲ ਵਾਂਗ ਬਣਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਲੋਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਦੇਖਕੇ ਸੀਟੀਆਂ ਮਾਰਨਗੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਿੰਨੀ ਬੁਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸਨ।

ਤਦ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਨੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਉੱਪਰ ਹਮਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਦੀ ਬਣਾ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਿੱਤਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੇੜੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਬਾਬਲ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ।
Jeremiah 46:2
ਮਿਸਰ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੀ ਕੌਮ ਬਾਰੇ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨਕੋ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਬਾਰੇ ਹੈ। ਨਕੋ ਮਿਸਰ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਕਰਕਮਿਸ਼ ਦੇ ਕਸਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਰ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਕਰਕਮਿਸ਼ ਫ਼ਰਾਤ ਦਰਿਆ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਹੈ। ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ, ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ, ਨੇ ਕਰਕਮਿਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨਕੋ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੂੰ ਉਦੋਂ ਹਰਾਇਆ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਦਾ ਚੌਬਾ ਵਰ੍ਹਾ ਸੀ। ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਰਾਜੇ ਯੋਸ਼ੀਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਮਿਸਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੈ:
