“ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਬੁਰੇ ਘਿਰਣਾ ਯੋਗ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਮੋਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਵੱਧਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਭੈੜੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ। ਇੰਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਣਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਬੁੱਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਹੈ।

ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ, ਆਹਾਬ ਨੇ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੋਂ ਅਮੋਰੀਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਬੁੱਤ ਪੂਜਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਿਆ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅਮੋਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ।

ਪਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਨਾ ਸੁਣੀ। ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਭੈੜੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਖਾਤਰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
Jeremiah 15:4
ਮੈਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਕਿਸੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਚੀਜ਼ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਮਿਸਾਲ ਬਣਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਦੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰਨ ਬਦਲੇ ਇਹੀ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਸੀ।’
Ezekiel 16:45
ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਹੈਂ। ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀ ਜਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਦੀ। ਤੂੰ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਭੈਣ ਵਰਗੀ ਹੈਂ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਹੋਂ। ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਮਾਂ ਹਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਅਮੂਰੀ ਸੀ।

ਪਰ ਤਦ ਵੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਰਾਜ਼ਗੀ ਨਾ ਹਟੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਕਰੋਧਿਤ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਦੇ ਭੈੜੇ ਕੰਮ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।

ਆਮੋਨ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਉ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੁੱਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੀਤੀ।

ਮਨੱਸਹ ਨੇ ਬੜੇ ਮਾਸੂਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਤਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਿਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਜੇ ਸਿਰੇ ਤੀਕ ਸਾਰੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਨੂੰ ਖੂਨ ਨਾਲ ਲਬਰੇਜ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਨੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਉਹ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੁਰੇ ਲੱਗਣ।’”
2 Kings 21:2
ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਉਹੀ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਗ਼ਲਤ ਸਨ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਬਾਕੀ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੀ ਭੈੜੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਆਏ ਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਇਹ ਸਭ ਜ਼ਿਮਰੀ ਦੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਕਾਰਣ ਹੋਇਆ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੇ। ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦੇ ਵਿੁਰੱਧ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤੇ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਉਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਬਦੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਯਾਰਾਬੁਆਮ ਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਰਾਬੁਆਮ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਵਾਏ।

ਯਾਰਾਬੁਆਮ ਨੇ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤੇ ਤੇ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਪੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਰ ਦੇ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।”
Genesis 15:16
ਚਾਰ ਪੀੜੀਆਂ ਬਾਦ ਤੇਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਆਉਣਗੇ। ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ, ਤੇਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਅਮੋਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦੇਣਗੇ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਮੋਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਅਮੋਰੀ ਲੋਕ ਹਾਲੇ ਇਨੇ ਪਾਪੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਭਾਗੀ ਹੋਣ।”
