ਫ਼ਿਰ ਯਸਾਯਾਹ ਨਬੀ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਪਰਛਾਵੇਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਸ ਕਦਮ ਪਿੱਛਾਂਹ ਵੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਮੋੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਯਾਨੀ ਕਿ ਜਿੰਨਾਂ ਉਹ ਢੱਲ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਸੀ ਉਨਾ ਹੀ ਪਿੱਛਾਂਹ ਨੂੰ ਮੋੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਤਾਂ ਤਕਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਲੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਏਲੀਯਾਹ ਨਬੀ ਨੇ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਆਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ, “ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅਬਰਾਹਮ, ਇਸਹਾਕ ਤੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ। ਮੈਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਵੇ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਦਾਸ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਬਚਨ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।

ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਕੋਲ ਹਲਕਾਰੇ ਭੇਜੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਲਕਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਅਜਬ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਛ-ਗਿੱਛ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ ਸੀ। ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਆਏ ਤਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਤਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਕਲਿਆਂ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਪਤਾ ਕਰੇ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀ ਹੈ?
Acts 9:40
ਉਹ ਗੋਡਿਆਂ ਭਾਰ ਬੈਠ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਫ਼ਿਰ ਓੁਹ ਤਬਿਥਾ ਵੱਲ ਮੁੜਿਆ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਮੁਰਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤਬਿਥਾ, ਉੱਠ।” ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਖੋਲ੍ਹੀਆਂ। ਜਿਸ ਵਕਤ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਤਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਉੱਠ ਕੇ ਬੈਠ ਗਈ।
