ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਦਾ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋਣਾ ਉਸੇ ਰਾਤ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਦੂਤ ਨੇ ਨਿਕਲ ਕੇ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ 1,85,000 ਮਨੁੱਖ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਜਦੋਂ ਲੋਕ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਉੱਠੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ ਵੇਖਿਆ।
