ਫ਼ਿਰ ਬੈਤ-ਸ਼ਮਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਯਹੋਆਸ਼ ਨੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਅਮਸਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰ ਲਿਆ ਜੋ ਅਹਜ਼ਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੋਤਾ ਤੇ ਯੋਆਸ਼ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਯਹੋਆਸ਼ ਅਮਸਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਆਇਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੀ ਕੰਧ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਦੇ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਨੁਕਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਤੀਕ 600 ਫੁੱਟ ਢਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ।

Isaiah 2:11

ਤਦ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਸਿਦਕੀਯਾਹ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੜ ਕੇ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਕੋਲ ਰਿਬਲਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਏ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੰਡ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਵਿੱਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ।
