ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅਹਾਬ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਤਦ ਯੇਹੂ ਨੇ ਦੂਜੀ ਚਿੱਠੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਲਿਖਿਆ, “ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਾਥ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਅਹਾਬ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਵੱਢ ਸੁੱਟੋ। ਅਤੇ ਕੱਲ ਇਸੇ ਕੁ ਵੇਲੇ ਯਿਜ਼ਰਏਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਢ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਲੈ ਆਵੋ।” ਅਹਾਬ ਦੇ 70 ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।
