2 Corinthians 5:12
ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਦਾ ਮੁੜਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ। ਪਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ। ਅਸੀਂ ਕਾਰਣ ਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਾਣ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਕਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਉੱਤਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਮਾਨ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਾਣ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀ ਹੈ।

Galatians 6:12
ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੁੰਨਤੀਏ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਮਜਬੂਰ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਬੂਲਣ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇਸ ਡਰ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਸੁੰਨਤ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਮਜਬੂਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੀ ਸਲੀਬ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਸਰਣ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਸੀਹੇ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।

ਕੁਰਿੰਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਸੀਹੀਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਮੈਂ ਇੱਕ ਮੂਰਖ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਪਰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਕਰਾਇਆ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾ, ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ “ਮਹਾਨ ਰਸੂਲਾਂ” ਨਾਲੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ।

ਪੌਲੁਸ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਅਸੀਸ ਮੈਂ ਸ਼ੇਖੀ ਮਾਰਨਾ ਅਵੱਸ਼ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਾਂਗਾ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਇਸਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਫ਼ਾਇਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ। ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਰਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।
2 Corinthians 10:18
ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ। ਪਰ ਜਿਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਚੰਗਾ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
2 Corinthians 10:12
ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੋਚਾਂਗੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜ ਜਾਈਏ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਕਰਾਰ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਦੀ ਤੁਲਨਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ। ਉਹ ਖੁਦ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਦਾ ਮੁਲਾਂਕਣ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਦੀ ਤੁਲਨਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਵਿਖਾਉਂਦਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮੂਰਖ ਹਨ।
