ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਦੰਮਿਸਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਰਾਜਾ ਅਰਿਤਾਸ ਦੇ ਗਵਰਨਰ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਗਿਰਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹਿਆ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਾਰਦ ਬਿਠਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ।

ਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਛੋਟੀਆਂ ਯਾਤਰਾਵਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਿੰਮੇ ਲਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਮੈਂ ਦਰਿਆਵਾਂ, ਡਾਕੂਆਂ, ਆਪਣੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਗੈਰ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਖਤਰੇ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਤਰਾ ਝੱਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੀ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਖਤਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਿਆ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਭਰਾ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਸੱਚ ਮੁੱਚ ਭਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ।
