ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਗ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਉਤਰਦੀ ਵੇਖੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਵੀ ਵੇਖਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਪਰ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਿਆ ਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਤੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਭਜਨ ਗਾਇਆ ਕਿ “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮਹਾਨ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਰਹਿਮਤ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਇਉਂ ਹੀ ਵਰਤਦੀ ਰਹੇੇ।”

ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਿਦਾਇਤਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸਾਹਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਫਿਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੈ ਗੱਵਯਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣਿਆ। ਉਹ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ-ਅੱਗੇ ਚੱਲਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ’ਚ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਦੇ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਉਸਤਤਾਂ ਗਾਓ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਉਸਦਾ ਅਟੱਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਲਈ ਸਥਿਰ ਹੈ!”

Isaiah 63:7
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਮੈਂ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖਾਂਗਾ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰਨੀ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖਾਂਗਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ! ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਦਇਆ ਦਰਸਾਈ।
Psalm 136:1

ਉਪਰੰਤ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਭੀੜ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਹੁਣ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰੋ।” ਤਾਂ ਸਭ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕੀਤੀ। ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰ ਝੁਕਾਅ ਕੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਆਦਰ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ।

Numbers 14:5

Exodus 4:31
