ਮੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਸੁਣ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖੀਆਂ ਇਸ ਮੰਦਰ ਵੱਲ ਜਿਸਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਤੂੰ ਫ਼ੁਰਮਾਇਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾਮ ਉੱਥੇ ਰੱਖਾਂਗਾ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਦਿਨ-ਰਾਤ ਖੁਲ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਰਹਿਣ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣੇ ਜੋ ਤੇਰਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਇਸ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਉੱਪਰ ਕਰੇ।

ਦਾਨੀਏਲ ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼ ਤਿੰਨ ਵਾਰੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼ ਤਿੰਨ ਵਾਰੀ ਦਾਨੀਏਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੋਡਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਝੁਕਦਾ ਸੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਜਦੋਂ ਦਾਨੀਏਲ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨਵੇਂ ਕਨੂੰਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਦਾਨੀਏਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਦੀ ਛੱਤ ਉਤ੍ਤਲੇ ਕਮਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲਾ ਗਿਆ। ਦਾਨੀਏਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਖਿੜਕੀਆਂ ਕੋਲ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵੱਲ ਖੁਲ੍ਹਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਦਾਨੀਏਲ ਗੋਡਿਆਂ ਪਰਨੇ ਝੁਕਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ।
Psalm 121:5
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਰੱਖਿਅਕ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

“ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੇਰੇ ਕੰਨ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਖੁੱਲੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਵੱਲ ਜੋ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਵੱਲ ਤੇਰਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਹੋਵੇ। ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਭਾਵ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਬਨਾ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਕਬੂਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਪਾਪ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ। ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਮੰਨਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ।

Deuteronomy 26:2
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਫ਼ਸਲਾਂ ਇਕੱਠੀਆਂ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਉੱਗਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਨੂੰ ਟੋਕਰਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਕਰ ਲਵੋ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਆਪਣੀ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਲੈ ਜਾਵੋ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਰਿਹਾਇਸ਼ ਲਈ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ।
Deuteronomy 12:11
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਖਾਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਉੱਥੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾਮ ਰੱਖੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਸਤਾਂ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਲਿਆਉਣੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਹੋਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ, ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਬਲੀਆਂ, ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਫ਼ਸਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਸਵੰਧ , ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਖਾਸ ਸੁਗਾਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਸੁਗਾਤ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਲਿਆਉ।
