ਪਰ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਢ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਮੋਨ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਇਹ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ ਘੜੀ ਸੀ। ਤਦ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਯੋਸੀਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਨਵਾਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਚੁਣਿਆ। ਯੋਸੀਯਾਹ ਆਮੋਨ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ।

Numbers 35:31
“ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਕਾਤਲ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੌਤ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਸਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਬਦਲਣ ਲਈ ਰਿਸ਼ਵਤ ਨਾ ਲਵੋ। ਉਸ ਕਾਤਲ ਨੂੰ ਅਵੱਸ਼ ਮਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
Numbers 35:33
“ਆਪਣੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਗੁਨਾਹ ਖੂਨ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਦਿਉ। ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਜੁਰਮ ਦੀ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਹੀ ਕੀਮਤ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਾਤਲ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ। ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਇਵਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ੁਰਮ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਕਰ ਸੱਕੇ।

ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਉਜ਼ੀਯਾਹ ਤਦ ਅਮਸਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਜ਼ੀਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਵਾਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਚੁਣਿਆ। ਉਜ਼ੀਯਾਹ ਅਮਸਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ ਉਹ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਸੋਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੀ।
2 Chronicles 34:1
ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਯੋਸੀਯਾਹ ਯੋਸੀਯਾਹ ਜਦੋਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਬਣਿਆ ਉਹ ਕੁੱਲ ਅੱਠ ਵਰ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ 31ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਰਾਜ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਯਹੋਆਹਾਜ਼ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦਾ ਨਵਾਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਯਹੋਆਹਾਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣਿਆ। ਯਹੋਆਹਾਜ਼ ਯੋਸੀਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ।
