2 Chronicles 30:1
ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਪਸਹ ਮਨਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੱਦਾ ਭੇਜਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਅਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਖਤ ਭੇਜੇ। ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਲਈ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਲਈ ਪਸਹ ਮਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦਾ ਭੇਜਿਆ।

Hosea 5:4
ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਕੁਕਰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ। ਜਿਹੜੇ ਹੁਣ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲ ਪਰਤਨ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਣ ਦੇ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ।

ਹਲਕਾਰੇ ਅਫ਼ਰਈਮ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਏ। ਉਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਘੁੰਮਦੇ-ਘੁਮਾਉਂਦੇ ਜ਼ਬੂਲੁਨ ਤੀਕ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ। ਪਰ ਉੱਥੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਲਕਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਮਜ਼ਾਕ ਉਡਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਠਿੱਠ ਕੀਤੇ।

ਪਰ ਇੱਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਅਮਸਯਾਹ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਹੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਵੰਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।

ਜਦੋਂ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡਿਆ, ਉੱਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਲੋਕੀ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਖੋਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਜੀਅ-ਜਾਨ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਸੀ, ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਏ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਭੇਟ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ।

ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜਾਜਕ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਆਪੋ-ਆਪਣੀ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਠ ਕੇ ਰਹਬੁਆਮ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਗਏ।
Deuteronomy 16:2

1 Corinthians 5:7
