2 Chronicles 20:9
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ, ‘ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ਜਾਂ ਬਦੀ ਸਾਡੇ ਤੇ ਆਵੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਜਾਂ ਨਿਆਂ, ਬੀਮਾਰੀ ਜਾਂ ਕਾਲ ਤਾਂ ਜੇਕਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਈੇਏ, ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਉਂ ਇਸ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ, ਆਪਣੀ ਬਿਪਤਾ ਵੇਲੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰੀਏ ਤਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਡੀ ਫ਼ਰਿਆਦ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਅ ਲਵੇਂਗਾ।’

“ਜੇਕਰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਲ ਜਾਂ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਪੈ ਜਾਵੇ, ਜੇਕਰ ਫ਼ਸਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੀੜਾ ਪੈ ਜਾਵੇ। ਜਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਫੌਜ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰ ਲਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ’ਚ ਕੋਈ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਆ ਜਾਵੇ,

“ਕਈ ਵਾਰੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਲੋਕ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ, ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਪਾਪ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦੇਣ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਲੋਕ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਵਾਪਸ ਆ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰਨ। ਉਹ ਇਸ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਨ।

“ਜੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਲ ਜਾਂ ਸੋਕਾ ਪੈ ਜਾਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹਾਂ ਬਵਾ ਪੈ ਜਾਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਔੜ-ਸੁੰਡੀ ਪੈ ਜਾਵੇ ਤੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਅੰਨ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਜਾਂ ਫ਼ਾਟਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰ ਲੈਣ ਜਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਕਸ਼ਟ, ਰੋਗ ਜਾਂ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਆ ਪਵੇ।
Exodus 20:24
“ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਖਾਸ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਬਣਾਓ। ਇਸ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰੋ। ਇਸ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੋਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੱਖ ਸਾਂਦ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਬਲੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਭੇਂਟ ਕਰੋ। ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰੋ। ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹਰ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਕਰੋ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਆਵਾਂਗਾ ਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।
Exodus 23:21
ਦੂਤ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਚੱਲਣਾ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਬਗਾਵਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨੀ। ਦੂਤ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੰਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਫ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਮੇਰੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਹੈ।
Matthew 18:20
ਇਹ ਸੱਚ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਦੋ ਜਾਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਣ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਉੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹਾਂ।”
