ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦਾ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਤੰਗ ਕਰਨਾ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਜਦੋਂ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਰਧਾ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਕੀਤੇ, ਤਾਂ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਸਨਹੇਰੀਬ ਨੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਸਨਹੇਰੀਬ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਲੇ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਡੇਰੇ ਲਾ ਲਏ। ਇਹ ਵਿਉਂਤ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਬਣਾਈ। ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਜਿੱਤਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ।

“ਅਮਰਯਾਹ ਪਰਧਾਨ ਜਾਜਕ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਬਾਬਤ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦਾ ਆਗੂ ਹੈ। ਇਸ਼ਮਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜ਼ਬਦਯਾਹ, ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਦਾ ਆਗੂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਬਾਬਤ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦਾ ਆਗੂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਲੇਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਲਿਖਾਰੀ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਆਪਣੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੌਂਸਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖੋ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਵੇ ਜੋ ਨੇਕ ਹਨ।”
Isaiah 7:1
ਆਰਾਮ ਦੀ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ਆਹਾਜ਼ ਯੋਥਾਮ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਯੋਥਾਮ ਉਜ਼ੀਯ੍ਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਰਸੀਨ ਅਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਸੀ, ਰਮਲਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਫਕਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਸੀ। ਜਿਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਆਹਾਜ਼ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਸੀ, ਰਸੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਫਕਹ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਜੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਓੱਥੇ ਗਏ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕੇ।

ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਆਂਕਾਰ ਚੁਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਗੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਆਂਕਾਰ ਮੁਕੱਰਰ ਕੀਤੇ।

ਤਦ ਹਨਾਨੀ ਗੈਬਦਾਨ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯੇਹੂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਿਲਣ ਲਈ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਤੂੰ ਬੁਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ? ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੋਕ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਘਿਰਣਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ? ਇਹੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਹੈ।
1 Chronicles 4:41
ਇਹ ਉਦੋਂ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਉਹ ਗਦੋਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਮੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੜੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਾਮੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਤੰਬੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਦੇ ਮਊਨੀਮੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਅੱਜ ਤਾਈਂ, ਓੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਮਊਨੀਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਸਦਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਲਈ ਚਰਾਂਦਾਂ ਸਨ।
