1 Samuel 3:12
ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਮੈਂ ਏਲੀ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ-ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਅੰਤ ਤੀਕ।

ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਝੂਠ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੋਲਦਾ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀ ਬਦਲਣਗੇ। ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਕੁਝ ਆਖਦਾ, ਉਹ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਜੇਕਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਕੋਈ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ, ਉਹ ਉਹੀ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਹਰ ਨੇਕ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੱਚਾ ਸਿੱਧ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਦਿਖਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੰਦਾ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੰਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਾਪਰਨਗੀਆਂ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਚੰਗੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਿਕਲ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ।

ਪੂਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ, ਧਰਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਸਭ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਪਰ ਜੋ ਵਾਕ ਮੈਂ ਬੋਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।”
