1 Samuel 12:4
ਤਾਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਨਹੀਂ! ਤੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਬਦਸਲੂਕੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਕਦੇ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਧੋਖਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਕੋਈ ਕਦੇ ਵੱਢੀ ਲਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।”

| oppressed | רַצּוֹתָ֑נוּ | raṣṣôtānû | ra-tsoh-TA-noo |
| neither us, | וְלֹֽא | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| hast thou taken | לָקַ֥חְתָּ | lāqaḥtā | la-KAHK-ta |
| ought | מִיַּד | miyyad | mee-YAHD |
| of any man's | אִ֖ישׁ | ʾîš | eesh |
| hand. | מְאֽוּמָה׃ | mĕʾûmâ | meh-OO-ma |
