1 Peter 4:1
ਪਰਿਵਰਤਿਤ ਜੀਵਨ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਤਸੀਹੇ ਝੱਲੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਿਹਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਉਸੇ ਸੋਚ ਨਾਲ ਲੈਸ ਕਰ ਲੈਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਯਿਸੂ ਕੋਲ ਸੀ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਤਸੀਹੇ ਝੱਲੇ ਹਨ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਨੇ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।

ਰਾਤ ਹੁਣ ਬਹੁਤੀ ਬੀਤ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਦਿਨ ਚੜ੍ਹ੍ਹਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੁਣ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨੇ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦੇਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ। ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੁਰਾਣੀ ਪਾਪ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਲਈ ਮਰ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਾਂ। ਤਾਂ ਹੁਣ ਅਸੀਂ ਪਾਪ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਉਣਾ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਰੱਖ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ?

Ezekiel 16:41
