ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ ਦੇ ਪਹਾੜ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਮਰ ਕੋਲੋਂ 68 ਕਿਲੋ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦੇਕੇ ਖਰੀਦ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਪਹਾੜ ਉੱਪਰ ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਬਣਾਇਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ “ਸ਼ਮਰ” ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ।
