ਤਦ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਹਨਾਨੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯੇਹੂ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ। ਇਹ ਬਚਨ ਬਆਸ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਸੀ ਕਿ,

ਤਦ ਹਨਾਨੀ ਗੈਬਦਾਨ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯੇਹੂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਿਲਣ ਲਈ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਤੂੰ ਬੁਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ? ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੋਕ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਘਿਰਣਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ? ਇਹੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਹੈ।

ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਨੇ ਹੋਰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਕੀਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਦਿ ਤੋਂ ਅੰਤ ਤੀਕ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਹਨਾਨੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯੇਹੂ ਦੇ ਇਤਹਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਇਤਹਾਸ ਦੀ ਪੋਥੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰਜ ਹਨ।
1 Kings 16:7
ਤਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਯੇਹੂ ਨਬੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਕੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਬਆਸ਼ਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਸੀ। ਬਆਸ਼ਾ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਬਹੁਤ ਬਦੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਸੀ। ਬਆਸ਼ਾ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਉਹੀ ਕੁਝ ਕੀਤਾ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਉਸਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਯਾਰਾਬੁਆਮ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਬਆਸ਼ਾ ਨੇ ਯਾਰਾਬੁਆਮ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਸੀ।
2 Chronicles 16:7
ਉਸ ਵਕਤ ਹਨਾਨੀ ਨਬੀ ਆਸਾ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਆਸਾ, ਤੂੰ ਅਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਉੱਪਰ ਨਿਰਭਰ ਹੋਇਆ ਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੇ ਨਿਰਭਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਇਆ, ਇਸੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਅਰਾਮ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਬਚ ਕੇ ਨਿਕਲ ਗਈ ਹੈ।

ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਆਸਾ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਤੀਸਰੇ ਸਾਲ ਅਹੀਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਬਆਸ਼ਾ ਤਿਰਸਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਉੱਪਰ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ 24 ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਰਾਜ ਕੀਤਾ।
