ਮੈਂ ਦੱਸਦਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ।

2 Chronicles 21:4
ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਯਹੋਰਾਮ ਯਹੋਰਾਮ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਫ਼ਿਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਵੱਢ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ। ਇਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਵੱਢ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ।
2 Kings 11:1
ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ’ਚ ਅਥਲਯਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਅਥਲਯਾਹ, ਅਹਜ਼ਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਨੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਸਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਉੱਠੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

Judges 9:5
ਅਬੀਮਲਕ ਆਫ਼ਰਾਹ ਵਿਖੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਗਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਯਰੁੱਬਆਲ (ਗਿਦਾਊਨ) ਦੇ 70 ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕੋ ਪੱਥਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਤਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਪਰ ਯਰੁੱਬਆਲ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਛੋਟਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯੋਥਾਮ ਅਬੀਮਲਕ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਪ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬਚ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ।
Acts 27:31
ਤਾਂ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਨੇ ਸੈਨਾਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਿਪਾਹੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਜੇਕਰ ਇਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਇਸ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਠਹਿਰਣਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਜਾਨਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚ ਸੱਕਦੀਆਂ।”
