1 Corinthians 7:39
ਜਿੰਨਾ ਚਿਰ ਪਤੀ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਵਸ਼ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਜੇ ਪਤੀ ਮਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਪਤਨੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਹੋਰ ਮਰਦ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਵਾ ਸੱਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਨਮਿੱਤ ਵਿਆਹ ਅਵੱਸ਼ ਕਰਵਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
