1 Corinthians 10:33
ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਇਹੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਹਰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਕੀ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੈ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਚਾ ਹੋ ਸੱਕੇ।

ਕੀ ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਕਬੂਲ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ? ਨਹੀਂ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਕੀ ਮੈਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ? ਜੇ ਮੈਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਮਸੀਹ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਸੇਵਕ ਨਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ।
