ਪਹਿਲੇ ਵਾਸੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਲਕੀਅਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਸਨ ਉਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ, ਜਾਜਕ, ਲੇਵੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਸਨ।

Now the first	וְהַיּֽוֹשְׁבִים֙	wĕhayyôšĕbîm	veh-ha-yoh-sheh-VEEM
inhabitants	הָרִ֣אשֹׁנִ֔ים	hāriʾšōnîm	ha-REE-shoh-NEEM
that	אֲשֶׁ֥ר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
possessions their in dwelt	בַּֽאֲחֻזָּתָ֖ם	baʾăḥuzzātām	ba-uh-hoo-za-TAHM
cities their in	בְּעָֽרֵיהֶ֑ם	bĕʿārêhem	beh-ah-ray-HEM
were, the Israelites,	יִשְׂרָאֵל֙	yiśrāʾēl	yees-ra-ALE
priests, the	הַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים	hakkōhănîm	ha-KOH-huh-NEEM
Levites,	הַלְוִיִּ֖ם	halwiyyim	hahl-vee-YEEM
and the Nethinims.	וְהַנְּתִינִֽים׃	wĕhannĕtînîm	veh-ha-neh-tee-NEEM
