ਅਜ਼ਰ ਤੇ ਅਲਆਦ ਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਅਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਤੇ ਬੜੇ ਦਿਨ ਕੁਰਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਤੇ ਅਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਦਾ ਘਰਾਣਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੌਂਸਲਾ ਦੇਣ ਆਇਆ।

ਅੱਯੂਬ ਦੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਦੋਸਤ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਲਈ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਦੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਦੋਸਤ ਸਨ ਤੇਮਾਨੀ ਤੋਂ ਅਲੀਫ਼ਜ, ਸੂਹੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਲਦਦ, ਅਤੇ ਨਅਮਾਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਸੋਫ਼ਰ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨਾਲ ਵਾਪਰੀਆਂ ਮੰਦੀਆਂ ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੁਣਿਆ। ਇਹ ਤਿੰਨੇ ਦੋਸਤ ਘਰੋ ਨਿਕਲ ਕੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਏ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਕੋਲ ਜਾਕੇ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਹਮਦਰਦੀ ਜਤਾਉਣ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੌਸਲਾ ਦੇਣ।
