ਉੱਥੇ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਥੋੜੇ ਜਿਹੇ ਅਮਾਲੇਕੀ ਲੋਕ ਹੀ ਬਾਕੀ ਰਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਿਮਾਓਨੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਜ ਤੀਕ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਹੁਣ ਤੀਕ ਸ਼ਿਮਾਓਨੀ ਲੋਕ ਸੇਈਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ।

Deuteronomy 34:6
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਮੋਆਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਫ਼ਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਹ ਥਾਂ ਬੈਤ-ਪਓਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਦੀ ਵਾਦੀ ਅੰਦਰ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਅੱਜ ਤੱਕ ਵੀ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਕਿ ਮੂਸਾ ਦੀ ਕਬਰ ਠੀਕ ਕਿਹੜੇ ਥਾਵੇਂ ਹੈ।
Deuteronomy 25:17
ਅਮਾਲੇਕੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ਼ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ “ਉਸ ਸਲੂਕ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖੋ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਅਮਾਲੇਕ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਦੋਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਿਸਰ ਤੋਂ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਸੀ।
Exodus 17:14
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਸ ਲੜਾਈ ਬਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖ ਕਿ ਇੱਥੇ ਕੀ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੂੰ ਕਹਿ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਅਮਾਲੇਕੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।”
