ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਧੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 18,000 ਆਦਮੀ ਸਨ ਜੋ ਚੁਣੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਮਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸੱਦੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਆਕੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਬਣਾ ਸੱਕਣ।
