ਯੋਆਬ ਜੋ ਸਰੂਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਦਾ ਸੈਨਾਪਤੀ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਸ਼ਫ਼ਟ ਜੋ ਅਹੀਲੂਦ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਦਾ ਇਤਹਾਸ ਲਿਖਿਆ।
