கர்த்தாவே, இராக்காலத்திலும் உமது நாமத்தை நினைத்து, உமது வேதத்தைக் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறேன்.

பரலோகத்தில் இருக்கிற தேவரீர் கேட்டு, உமது அடியார்களும் உமது மக்களாகிய இஸ்ரவேலும் செய்த பாவத்தை மன்னித்து, அவர்கள் நடக்கவேண்டிய நல்வழியை அவர்களுக்குப் போதித்து, தேவரீர் உமது மக்களுக்குச் சுதந்திரமாகக் கொடுத்த உமது தேசத்தில் மழை பெய்யக் கட்டளையிடுவீராக.

நடுராத்திரியிலே பவுலும் சீலாவும் ஜெபம்பண்ணி, தேவனைத் துதித்துப் பாடினார்கள்; காவலில் வைக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் அதைக் கேட்டுக்கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்.

James பிந்தித் தரித்திருந்தான்; அப்பொழுது ஒரு புருஷன் பொழுது விடியுமளவும் அவனுடனே போராடி,

அநேகரால் பலவந்தமாய் ஒடுக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் முறையிட்டு, வல்லவர்களுடைய புயத்தினிமித்தம் அலறுகிறார்கள்.

இராக்காலத்தில் என் சங்கீதத்தை நான் நினைத்து, என் இருதயத்தோடே சம்பாஷித்துக்கொள்ளுகிறேன்; என் ஆவி ஆராய்ச்சிசெய்தது.
