ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଗ୍ରହଣ କରି ନଇେଛନ୍ତି ବୋଲି ପ୍ରମାଣିତ କରିବା ଲାଗି ଅବ୍ରାହାମଙ୍କୁ ପରେ ସୁନ୍ନତ କରାଯାଇ ଥିଲା। ଏହି ସୁନ୍ନତ ପ୍ରମାଣ କରୁଛି ଯେ ସୁନ୍ନତ ହବୋ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଥିଲେ। ସେଥିପାଇଁ, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ସୁନ୍ନତ ହାଇେ ନାହାଁନ୍ତି, ସେ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କର ପିତା ଅବ୍ରାହାମ ଅଟନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ଏହି କାରଣରୁ ସମାନେେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଧାର୍ମିକ ବୋଲି ନିରୁପିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି।
