ପାତାଳସ୍ଥ ସହେି ଅତଳ ଗହ୍ବରର ଦୂତ ପଙ୍ଗପାଳମାନଙ୍କର ରାଜା ଥିଲେ। ତାହାଙ୍କର ନାମ ଏବ୍ରୀ ଭାଷା ରେ 'ଅବଦ୍ଦୋନ୍' ଓ ଗ୍ରୀକ୍ ଭାଷା ରେ 'ଅପଲିଯୋନ' (ବିନାଶକ) ଥିଲା।

ବିଶାଳ ସାପକୁ ସ୍ବର୍ଗରୁ ପୃଥିବୀ ରେ ନିକ୍ଷପେ କରାଗଲା। ( ସହେି ବିଶାଳ ସାପ ହେଉଛି ସହେି ଅତୀତର ପୁରୁଣା ସାପ, ଯାହାକୁ ଶୟତାନ କୁହାୟାଏ। ସେ ପୃଥିବୀ ବାସୀଙ୍କୁ ଭୁଲ ରାସ୍ତା ରେ ନିଏ। ସାପକୁ ତା'ର ଦୂତମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ସଦଳବଳ ରେ ପୃଥିବୀ ରେ ନିକ୍ଷପେ କରାଗଲା।

ଏହାପରେ ପଞ୍ଚମ ଦୂତ ତୂରୀ ବଜାଇଲେ। ସେତବେେଳେ ମୁଁ ଆକାଶରୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ତାରା ପୃଥିବୀ ଉପରେ ପଡ଼ିବାର ଦେଖିଲି। ସହେି ତାରାକୁ ପାତାଳ ଅତଳ ଗହ୍ବର ରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ ଦ୍ବାରର ଚାବି ଦିଆଗଲା।
