ଗଣନା ପୁସ୍ତକ 24
1 ବିଲିଯମ ହୃଦବୋଧ କଲେ ଯେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲକୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରିବାକୁ ଚାହିଁଲେ। ତେଣୁ ସେ ପୂର୍ବପରି କୌଣସି ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ ପ୍ରଯୋଗ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କଲେ ନାହିଁ। କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ତୁ୍ଚ୍ଛାଟା ରେ ମରୁଭୂମି ଆଡେ ନିଜ ମୁଖ ରଖିଲା।
2 ବିଲିଯମ ଦେଖିଲା ଯେ, ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପରିବାରବର୍ଗ ଅନୁସାରେ ରହିଲେ। ତା'ପରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଆତ୍ମା ବାଲାଯମ ଉପରକୁ ଆସିଲା।
3 ଆଉ ବିଲିଯମ କହିଲା,
4 ଏହା ହେଉଛି ଜଣେ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିର ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ୟିଏ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଶୁଣେ। ସେ ହେଉଛି ଜଣେ ୟିଏ ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ଦର୍ଶନ ପାଇଅଛ। ସେ ହେଉଛି ଜଣେ ୟିଏ ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଆଗ ରେ ଭୂମିଷ୍ଠ ପ୍ରମାଣ କଲା, କିନ୍ତୁ ତା'ର ଚକ୍ଷୁଗୁଡିକ ଖାେଲା ଥିଲା।
5 ହେ ଯାକୁବ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ତମ୍ବୁ ସବୁ କି ସୁନ୍ଦର! ହେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଆବାସ ସବୁ କଡେେ ମ ନୋହର।
6 ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଉପତ୍ୟକା ତୁଲ୍ଯ ବିସ୍ତାରିତ ଓ ନଦୀତୀରସ୍ଥ ଉଦ୍ୟାନ ତୁଲ୍ଯ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ରୋପିତ ଅଗୁରୁ ବୃକ୍ଷ ସଦୃଶ ଓ ଜଳ ନିକଟସ୍ଥ ଏରସ ବୃକ୍ଷ ସଦୃଶ ଅଟ।
7 ସମାନଙ୍କେ କଳସରୁ ଜଳ ଉଚ୍ଛୁଳିବ, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ବୀଜ ଅନକେ ଜଳ ରେ ପଡିବ, ପୁଣି ସମାନଙ୍କେର ରାଜା ଆଗାଗଠାରୁ ଉଚ୍ଚୀକୃତ ହବେ, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ରାଜ୍ଯ ଉନ୍ନତ ହବେ।
8 ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ମିଶରରୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିଛନ୍ତି। ସମାନଙ୍କେର, ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅରଣା ଗୋରୁର ଶିଙ୍ଗ ପରି ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳି। ସମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ବିରୋଧିମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କରିବେ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଅସ୍ଥିସବୁ ଚୂର୍ଣ କରିବେ ଓ ଆପଣା ବାଣଦ୍ବାରା ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଭଦେ କରିବେ।
9 ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ବସିପଡୁଛି ଓ ସିଂହତୁଲ୍ଯ ଶଯନ କରୁଛି। କିଏ ତାକୁ ଉଠାଇବାକୁ ଯାଉଛି, ଯେକହେି ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ୟିଏ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରନ୍ତି, ସେ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହବେ। ଯେକହେି ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଶାପ ଦିଅନ୍ତି, ସେ ଶାପଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ହବେ।
10 ବାଲାକ୍ ବିଲିଯମକୁ ରାଗିଗଲା। ବାଲାକ୍ ବିଲିଯମକୁ କହିଲା, ମୁଁ ମାରେଶତୃମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶାପ ଦବୋପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ନିଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣ କଲି କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ତିନିଥର ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କଲ।
11 ଏଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ୟାଅ। ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଅତି ସମ୍ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ କରିବାକୁ ଆମ୍ଭର ବିଚାର ଥିଲା। ମାତ୍ର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସମ୍ମାନ ପାଇବାରୁ ବଞ୍ଚିତ କଲେ।
12 ତହୁଁ ବିଲିଯମ ବାଲାକ୍କୁ କହିଲା, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେ ନିକଟକୁ ଯେଉଁ ଦୂତମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଇଥିଲ, ମୁଁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଏହା କହିଥିଲି।
13 'ଯଦି ବାଲାକ୍ ମାେତେ ସୂନା ରୂପା ପୂର୍ଣ ଆପଣା ଗୃହ ଦବେେ, ତବେେ ମୁଁ ନିଜ ଇଛା ରେ ଭଲ କି ମନ୍ଦ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ବାକ୍ଯର ବାହାରକୁ ୟାଇ ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ, ଯାହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହିବେ ତାହା ହିଁ କରିବି।
14 ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଯାଉଅଛ। ଦୟାକରି ଆସ, ଏହି ଲୋକମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କ'ଣ କହିବେ, ତାହା ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କହିବି।
15 ଏଥି ରେ ବିଲିଯମ କହିଲେ,
16 ଏହା ହେଉଛି ଜଣେ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିର ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ୟିଏ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଶୁଣେ। ସେ ୟିଏ ସର୍ବୋପରିସ୍ଥ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ବୁଝେ। ସହେି ଜଣେ ୟିଏ ସର୍ବୋଶକ୍ତିମାନ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ଦର୍ଶନ ପାଇଅଛି। ସେ ହେଉଛି ଜଣେ, ୟିଏ ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଭୂମିରେ ପ୍ରଣାମ କରେ, କିନ୍ତୁ ତା'ର ଆଖିଗୁଡିକ ଖାଲିେଥାଏ।
17 ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଆସୁଥିବା ଦେଖିଲି, କିନ୍ତୁ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ନୁହେଁ। ମୁଁ ତାଙ୍କର ଦର୍ଶନ ପାଉଅଛି, କୁନ୍ତୁ ସେ ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ନୁହନ୍ତି। ଯାକୁବଠାରୁ ଏକ ତାରା ଉଦିତ ହବେ ଓ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲଠାରୁ ଏକ ରାଜଦଣ୍ତ ଉଥିତ ହବେ। ମାେଯବରେ ପାର୍ଶଭଦେ କରିବ ଓ କଲହର ସମସ୍ତ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗକୁ ଚୁର୍ଣ କରିବ।
18 ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ହବେ। ସେ ଇଦୋମ ଅଧିକାର କରିବ। ଶତୃରାଜ୍ଯ ସଯେୀର ମଧ୍ଯ ଅଧିକାର କରିବ।
19 ୟାବୁକ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗରୁ ଏକ ନୂତନ ରାଜା ଆସିବେ। ସେ ସହେି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିନଷ୍ଟ କରିବେ, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଏପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଜୀବିତ ଅଛନ୍ତି।
20 ଏହାପରେ ସେ ଅମାଲକେ ପ୍ରତି ଦୃଷ୍ଟିକରି ଗୀତ ରେ କହିଲା,
21 ତହୁଁ ସେ କନେୀଯମାନଙ୍କ ଆଡକୁ ମୁହଁ କରି କହିଲା,
22 କିନ୍ତୁ କନେୀଯମାନେ କ୍ଷଯପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହବେ। ଅଶୂର ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବନ୍ଦି କରି ନଇୟିବେ।
23 ତା'ପରେ ବିଲିଯମ କହିଲା, ଯେତବେେଳେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଏହା କରନ୍ତି, ସେତବେେଳେ କିଏ ବଞ୍ଚିବ?
24 ମାତ୍ର କୀତ୍ତୀମ-ତୀରରୁ ଜାହାଜମାନ ଆସିବ ଓ ସମାନେେ ଅଶୂରକୁ ଓ ଏବରକୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କରିବେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଏହି ଜାହାଜଗୁଡିକ ମଧ୍ଯ ଧ୍ବଂସ ହବେେ।
25 ତା'ପରେ ବିଲିଯମ ଉଠିଲା ଏବଂ ଗୃହକୁ ଫରେିଗଲା ଓ ବାଲାକ୍ ମଧ୍ଯ ନିଜ ବାଟରେ ଚାଲିଗଲେ।
1 And when Balaam saw that it pleased the Lord to bless Israel, he went not, as at other times, to seek for enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness.
2 And Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel abiding in his tents according to their tribes; and the spirit of God came upon him.
3 And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said:
4 He hath said, which heard the words of God, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:
5 How goodly are thy tents, O Jacob, and thy tabernacles, O Israel!
6 As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river’s side, as the trees of lign aloes which the Lord hath planted, and as cedar trees beside the waters.
7 He shall pour the water out of his buckets, and his seed shall be in many waters, and his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted.
8 God brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn: he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows.
9 He couched, he lay down as a lion, and as a great lion: who shall stir him up? Blessed is he that blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee.
10 And Balak’s anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands together: and Balak said unto Balaam, I called thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast altogether blessed them these three times.
11 Therefore now flee thou to thy place: I thought to promote thee unto great honour; but, lo, the Lord hath kept thee back from honour.
12 And Balaam said unto Balak, Spake I not also to thy messengers which thou sentest unto me, saying,
13 If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the commandment of the Lord, to do either good or bad of mine own mind; but what the Lord saith, that will I speak?
14 And now, behold, I go unto my people: come therefore, and I will advertise thee what this people shall do to thy people in the latter days.
15 And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said:
16 He hath said, which heard the words of God, and knew the knowledge of the most High, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:
17 I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.
18 And Edom shall be a possession, Seir also shall be a possession for his enemies; and Israel shall do valiantly.
19 Out of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion, and shall destroy him that remaineth of the city.
20 And when he looked on Amalek, he took up his parable, and said, Amalek was the first of the nations; but his latter end shall be that he perish for ever.
21 And he looked on the Kenites, and took up his parable, and said, Strong is thy dwellingplace, and thou puttest thy nest in a rock.
22 Nevertheless the Kenite shall be wasted, until Asshur shall carry thee away captive.
23 And he took up his parable, and said, Alas, who shall live when God doeth this!
24 And ships shall come from the coast of Chittim, and shall afflict Asshur, and shall afflict Eber, and he also shall perish for ever.
25 And Balaam rose up, and went and returned to his place: and Balak also went his way.
Jeremiah 43 in Tamil and English
1 ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನು ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಅವರ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅವರ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಯಾವವುಗಳ ವಿಷಯ ವಾಗಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದನೋ ಆ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೇಳಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿದಾಗ
And it came to pass, that when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking unto all the people all the words of the Lord their God, for which the Lord their God had sent him to them, even all these words,
2 ಹೋಷಾಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಜರ್ಯನೂ ಕಾರೇಹನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋಹಾನಾನನೂ ಗರ್ವಿಷ್ಠ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇ ನಂದರೆ-ನೀನು ಸುಳ್ಳು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೀ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಯಾ ಗಿರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಬಾರದೆಂದು ಹೇಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
Then spake Azariah the son of Hoshaiah, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the proud men, saying unto Jeremiah, Thou speakest falsely: the Lord our God hath not sent thee to say, Go not into Egypt to sojourn there:
3 ಅವರು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕುವಂತೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಾಬೆಲಿಗೆ ಸೆರೆ ಒಯ್ಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಸ್ದೀಯರ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ನೇರೀಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬಾರೂ ಕನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರೇರಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದರು.
But Baruch the son of Neriah setteth thee on against us, for to deliver us into the hand of the Chaldeans, that they might put us to death, and carry us away captives into Babylon.
4 ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕಾರೇಹನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋಹಾನಾನನೂ ಸೈನ್ಯಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳೂ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೆಹೂದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
So Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, and all the people, obeyed not the voice of the Lord, to dwell in the land of Judah.
5 ಆದರೆ ಕಾರೇಹನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋಹಾನಾನನೂ ಸೈನ್ಯಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಾವು ಅಟ್ಟಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಂದ ಯೆಹೂದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬಂದ ಯೆಹೂದದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದವರನ್ನು
But Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, took all the remnant of Judah, that were returned from all nations, whither they had been driven, to dwell in the land of Judah;
6 ಅಂದರೆ ಗಂಡಸರನ್ನೂ ಹೆಂಗಸರನ್ನೂ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಅರಸನ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯ ರನ್ನೂ ಕಾವಲಿನವರ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ನೆಬೂಜರದಾ ನನು ಶಾಫಾನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಹೀಕಾಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಗೆದಲ್ಯನ ಸಂಗಡ ಬಿಟ್ಟವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನನ್ನೂ ನೇರೀಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬಾರೂಕನನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರು.
Even men, and women, and children, and the king’s daughters, and every person that Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard had left with Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Jeremiah the prophet, and Baruch the son of Neriah.
7 ಅವರು ಕರ್ತನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ತಹಪನೇಸಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು.
So they came into the land of Egypt: for they obeyed not the voice of the Lord: thus came they even to Tahpanhes.
8 ಆಗ ತಹಪನೇಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಯೆರೆವಿಾ ಯನಿಗೆ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು.
Then came the word of the Lord unto Jeremiah in Tahpanhes, saying,
9 ಹೇಗಂದರೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ತಹಪನೇಸಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಫರೋಹನ ಮನೆಯ ಪ್ರವೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಇಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಭಟ್ಟಿಯ ಮಣ್ಣಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳತಕ್ಕದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--
Take great stones in thine hand, and hide them in the clay in the brickkiln, which is at the entry of Pharaoh’s house in Tahpanhes, in the sight of the men of Judah;
10 ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳು ತ್ತಾನೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿಸಿ ನಾನು ಬಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಈ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನವನ್ನು ಇಡುವೆನು; ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಮೇಲ್ಕಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಅವುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಸುವನು.
And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne upon these stones that I have hid; and he shall spread his royal pavilion over them.
11 ಅವನು ಬಂದು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ಮರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಇರುವವರನ್ನು ಮರಣಕ್ಕೂ ಸೆರೆಗೆ ಇರುವವರನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಗೂ ಕತ್ತಿಗೆ ಇರುವವರನ್ನು ಕತ್ತಿಗೂ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುವನು.
And when he cometh, he shall smite the land of Egypt, and deliver such as are for death to death; and such as are for captivity to captivity; and such as are for the sword to the sword.
12 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ದೇವರುಗಳ ಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹಚ್ಚುವೆನು; ಅವನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟು, ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿ ಒಯ್ಯುವನು; ಕುರುಬನು ತನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಹೊದ್ದು ಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹೊದ್ದುಕೊಂಡು ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹೊರಡುವನು.
And I will kindle a fire in the houses of the gods of Egypt; and he shall burn them, and carry them away captives: and he shall array himself with the land of Egypt, as a shepherd putteth on his garment; and he shall go forth from thence in peace.
13 ಇದ ಲ್ಲದೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬೇತ್ಷೆಮೇಷಿನ ವಿಗ್ರಹ ಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದುಹಾಕಿ ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ದೇವರುಗಳ ಮನೆ ಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಡುವನು ಎಂಬದು.
He shall break also the images of Beth-shemesh, that is in the land of Egypt; and the houses of the gods of the Egyptians shall he burn with fire.
