ମାଶାେ ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗୁପ୍ତଚର କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବାକୁ ସହେି ଦେଶ ପଠାଇ ଥିଲେ, ମାଶାେ ନୂନର ପୁତ୍ର ହାେେଶୟଙ୍କୁ ଯିହାଶୂେୟ ନାମ ଦେଲେ।

ଆମ୍ଭେ ମାନେ ସହେି ଲୋକ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର କବଳେ ଯିହୂଦୀମାନଙ୍କ ଭିତରୁ ନୁହେଁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଅଣ ଯିହୂଦୀମାନଙ୍କ ଭିତରୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ଆମ୍ଭ ମାନଙ୍କୁ ଡାକିଲେ। ହାେେଶୟ ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଏହିପରି ଲଖାେ ଅଛି:

ଆମ୍ଭର ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନେ ସହେି ପବିତ୍ର ତମ୍ବୁ ସାଙ୍ଗ ରେ ଆଣିଥିଲେ। ସହେି ସମୟରେ ୟିହୋଶୂୟଙ୍କ ନତେୃତ୍ବ ରେ ସମାନେେ ଅନ୍ୟଜାତି ଗଣର ଦେଶ ଅଧିକାର କରି ନଇେଥିଲେ। ଏହି ଜାତିମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆମ୍ଭ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କ ସାମନା ରେ ବାହାର କରି ଦେଲେ। ତମ୍ବୁଟି ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ସମୟ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଥିଲା।

ମରିୟମ ପୁତ୍ର ସନ୍ତାନଟିଏ ଜନ୍ମ ଦବେେ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନାମ ଯୀଶୁ ରଖିବ। କାରଣ ସେ ନିଜ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପାପରୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବେ।

ତହୁଁ ଦେଶ ଅନୁସନ୍ଧାନକାରୀ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ନୂନର ପୁତ୍ର ଯିହାଶୂେୟ ଓ ୟିଫୁନ୍ନିର ପୁତ୍ର କାଲେବ୍ ନିଜନିଜ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ଚିରିଲେ।
