ମୀଖା 7:3
ଲୋକମାନେ ଦୁଇ ହାତ ରେ ମନ୍ଦକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବାକୁ ଯତ୍ନଶୀଳ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି, କର୍ମଗ୍ଭରୀଗଣ ଲାଞ୍ଚ ନେଉଛନ୍ତି ଓ ବିଗ୍ଭରକ ବିଗ୍ଭରାଳଯ ରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ସିଦ୍ଧାନ୍ତ ବଦଳାଇବାକୁ ଅର୍ଥ ନେଉଛନ୍ତି। ପ୍ରଧାନ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିମାନେ ଉତ୍ତମ ଓ ନ୍ଯାଯ ବିଗ୍ଭର କରୁ ନାହିଁନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ନିଜ ଇଚ୍ଛା ଯାହା ତାହା କରୁଛନ୍ତି।

| reward; a for asketh | בַּשִּׁלּ֑וּם | baššillûm | ba-SHEE-loom |
| and the great | וְהַגָּד֗וֹל | wĕhaggādôl | veh-ha-ɡa-DOLE |
| man, he | דֹּבֵ֨ר | dōbēr | doh-VARE |
| uttereth | הַוַּ֥ת | hawwat | ha-WAHT |
| mischievous his | נַפְשׁ֛וֹ | napšô | nahf-SHOH |
| desire: | ה֖וּא | hûʾ | hoo |
| so they wrap it up. | וַֽיְעַבְּתֽוּהָ׃ | wayʿabbĕtûhā | VA-ah-beh-TOO-ha |
