Jeremiah 32:36
ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କହୁଅଛ ଯେ, 'ବାବିଲର ରାଜା ଖଡ୍ଗ, ଦୁର୍ଭିକ୍ଷ ଓ ମହାମାରୀ ପ୍ରଯୋଗ କରି ଏହି ରାଜ୍ଯ ଅଧିକାର କରିବ।' ମାତ୍ର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ପରମେଶ୍ବର କହନ୍ତି।

ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନେ କାଠଗଣ୍ଡି ନିର୍ମାଣ କରି ନଗର ଅବରୋଧ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ଯେପରି ଶତ୍ରୁ ନଗରକୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କରିପାରିବେ ଖଡ୍ଗ, ଦୁର୍ଭିକ୍ଷ, ମହାମାରୀ ଘଟାଇଲେ ଏବଂ ଏହା ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ କରୁଥିବା କଲଦୀଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ତାହା ହସ୍ତାନ୍ତର କର। ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କହିଥିଲ ଏହା ଘଟିବ ଓ ଆଜି ଦେଖ ତାହା ଘଟୁଅଛି।
ଯିରିମିୟ 32:3
ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ସିଦିକିଯ ଯିରିମିୟଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରିଥିଲେ। କାରଣ ସେ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବାକ୍ଯ ପ୍ରଚାର କରି କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, 'ଆମ୍ଭେ ବାବିଲର ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦନିତ୍ସର ହସ୍ତ ରେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମକୁ ଅର୍ପଣ କରିବା।

ଅତୀତ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତେ ସହେିଭଳି ଜୀବନଯାପନ କରୁଥିଲୁ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭର ପାପଭରା ମନୋଭାବର କାମନା ସବୁ ପୂରଣ କରିବା ରେ ଚେଷ୍ଟିତ ଥିଲୁ। ଯାହା ଆମ୍ଭ ଦହେ ଚାହୁଁଥିଲା ଓ ମନ ଭାବୁଥିଲା, ସହେି କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରୁଥିଲୁ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ମନ୍ ଦଲୋକ ଥିଲୁ। ଆମ୍ଭର ପାପପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଜୀବନ ଲାଗି ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ପରି ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ କୋର୍ଧର ପାତ୍ର ହାଇେ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଭୋଗ କରିଥାନ୍ତୁ।

ଲୋକମାନେ ଅଧିକ ପାପ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ଆସିଲା, କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେତବେେଳେ ଲୋକେ ଅଧିକ ପାପ କଲେ, ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ପ୍ରଚୁର ମାତ୍ରା ରେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ପ୍ରଦାନ କଲେ।

ପୁଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହା ମଧ୍ଯ କହିଲେ, ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ କଲଦୀଯମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ଓ ବାବିଲର ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦନିତ୍ସରର ହସ୍ତ ରେ ଏହି ନଗର ସମର୍ପଣ କରିବା। ସେ ତାହା ହସ୍ତଗତ କରିବେ।

କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷଗଣଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଅଧିକ ପାପ କରିଅଛ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ନିଜ ନିଜ ଦୁଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତଃକରଣ ରେ ଅବାଧ୍ଯ ହାଇେ ମନ୍ଦ ଆଚରଣ କରୁଅଛ ଓ ମାେ ଆଜ୍ଞା ପାଳନ କରୁ ନାହଁ।

ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭର ସମ୍ମାନ ନିମନ୍ତେ ସୁଗନ୍ଧି ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯ କ୍ରଯ କରିବାକୁ ରେ ୗପ୍ୟ ମୁଦ୍ରା ଦଇେ ନାହଁ। କିମ୍ବା ତୁମ୍ଭ ବଳିର ମଦେ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ତୃପ୍ତ କରି ନାହଁ, ମାତ୍ର ଆପଣା ପାପଦ୍ବାରା ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଦାସ୍ଯ କର୍ମ କରାଇଛ ଓ ଆପଣା ନାନା ଅଧର୍ମ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ କ୍ଲାନ୍ତ କରିଅଛ।
