Jeremiah 25:26
ପୁଣି ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଗର ନିକଟସ୍ଥ ଓ ଦୂରସ୍ଥ ସମସ୍ତ ରାଜା ଜଣଙ୍କ ପ ରେ ଜଣେ ଏହା ପାନ କଲେ। ପୁଣି ପୃଥିବୀସ୍ଥ ସମସ୍ତ ରାଜ୍ଯକୁ ପାନ କରାଇଲା ପ ରେ ଶେଶକର ରାଜା ଏହି ପାତ୍ରରୁ ପାନ କରିବେ।

ପୁଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଲୋକ ପଠାଇ ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଗସ୍ଥ ସମସ୍ତ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗକୁ ଆଣିବା।ପୁଣି ଆମ୍ଭର ଦାସ ବାବିଲର ରାଜା ନବୁଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସରକୁ ଆଣିବା। ପୁଣି ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ନଇେ ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ଯିହୁଦା ନିବାସୀଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଓ ତାହାର ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗସ୍ଥ ସମସ୍ତ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଛିଡ଼ା କରାଇବା। ଆଉ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ସୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭାବରେ ବିନାଶ କରିବା। ସହେି ଦେଶକୁ ଚିରକାଳ ଏକ ଶୂନ୍ଯ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତର ରେ ପରିଣତ କରିବା। ତାହାକୁ ଦେଖି ଲୋକମାନେ ବିସ୍ମଯ ରେ ଓ ଶୀସ୍ ଶବ୍ଦ କରିବେ।

ତା'ପରେ ମୁଁ ସ୍ବର୍ଗରୁ ଆଉ ଜଣେ ଦୂତଙ୍କୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇବାର ଦେଖିଲି। ସହେି ଦୂତଙ୍କର ବହୁତ କ୍ଷମତା ଥିଲା। ତାହାଙ୍କର ମହିମା ପୃଥିବୀ ରେ ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହେଲା।

କିନ୍ତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ହସ୍ତସ୍ଥିତ ପାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭ ଆଡକୁ ଆସିବ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମ୍ମାନ ବଦଳ ରେ ଅପମାନ ରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହବେ।

ରାଜା ବେଲ୍ଶତ୍ସର ନିଜର ସହସ୍ର ଅମାତ୍ଯବର୍ଗଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏକ ମହା ଭୋଜି ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କଲେ। ଆଉ ସେ ସହସ୍ରଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ରାଜା ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ପାନ କଲେ।

ଏମାନେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଶୀଯ ମୁଖ୍ଯ ଓ ସୀଦୋନର ସୈନ୍ଯଗଣ ଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଅନ୍ୟ ମୃତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ୟାଇଅଛନ୍ତି। ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଶକ୍ତି ସତ୍ତ୍ବେ, ୟୁଦ୍ଧ ଭୂମିରେ ନିହତ ଅସୁନ୍ନତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ପତିତ ହାଇେ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହାଇେଛନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ କବର ରେ ଅନ୍ଯାନ୍ଯ ମୃତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହାଇେଛନ୍ତି।
ଯିରିମିୟ 50:1
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯିରିମିୟ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତାଙ୍କ ମାଧ୍ଯମ ରେ ବାବିଲ ବିଷଯ ରେ ଓ କଲଦୀଯମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷଯ ରେ ଏହି ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ଦେଲେ। ତାହା ଏହିପରି :

ପୁଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ସତୁରିବର୍ଷ ଅନ୍ତେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ବାବିଲ ରାଜାକୁ, ସହେି ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀକି ଓ କଲଦୀଯମାନଙ୍କ ଦେଶକୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଅଧର୍ମ ସକାେଶ ଶାସ୍ତି ଦବୋ ଓ ତାହାକୁ ସଦାକାଳ ଧ୍ବଂସସ୍ଥାନ କରିବା।
ଯିଶାଇୟ 47:1
ଆଗୋ ବାବିଲର ଅନୁଢ଼ା କନ୍ଯ, ତଳକୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ଆସି ଧୂଳି ରେ ବସ ; ଆଗୋ କଲଦୀଯର କନ୍ଯ, ସିଂହାସନ ଛାଡ଼ି ଭୂମିରେ ବସ। କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆଉ କୋମଳ ଓ କୁଆଁରୀକନ୍ଯା ବୋଲି ଖ୍ଯାତ ହାଇବେ ନାହିଁ।

ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଆମାେସଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଯିଶାଇୟଙ୍କୁ ବାବିଲ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧୀଯ ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ଦଖାଇେଲେ।
