ଯିଶାଇୟ 17:8
ସମାନେେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତକୃତ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ପ୍ରତି ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ପକାଇବେ ନାହିଁ। ପୁଣି ଆପଣା ଅଙ୍ଗୁଳିକୃତ ଆଶରୋ ମୂର୍ତ୍ତି ଅବା ସୂର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଦବେତାଗଣଗୁଡ଼ିକ ପ୍ରତି ଅନାଇବେ ନାହିଁ।

| the work | מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה | maʿăśē | ma-uh-SAY |
| of his hands, | יָדָ֑יו | yādāyw | ya-DAV |
| neither | וַאֲשֶׁ֨ר | waʾăšer | va-uh-SHER |
| respect shall | עָשׂ֤וּ | ʿāśû | ah-SOO |
| that which | אֶצְבְּעֹתָיו֙ | ʾeṣbĕʿōtāyw | ets-beh-oh-tav |
| his fingers | לֹ֣א | lōʾ | loh |
| made, have | יִרְאֶ֔ה | yirʾe | yeer-EH |
| either the groves, | וְהָאֲשֵׁרִ֖ים | wĕhāʾăšērîm | veh-ha-uh-shay-REEM |
| or the images. | וְהָחַמָּנִֽים׃ | wĕhāḥammānîm | veh-ha-ha-ma-NEEM |
