ଆଦି ପୁସ୍ତକ 6:6
ମନୁଷ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜନ୍ମ ଦଇେଥିବାରୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅନୁତାପ କଲେ। ଏହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ହୃଦଯକୁ ୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଦଲୋ।

| man | הָֽאָדָ֖ם | hāʾādām | ha-ah-DAHM |
| on the earth, | בָּאָ֑רֶץ | bāʾāreṣ | ba-AH-rets |
| grieved it and | וַיִּתְעַצֵּ֖ב | wayyitʿaṣṣēb | va-yeet-ah-TSAVE |
| him at | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| his heart. | לִבּֽוֹ׃ | libbô | lee-boh |
