ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଶର ରାଜା ରମ୍ଯ ଦେଶ ରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବ ତହିଁରେ ଅନକେ ଦେଶ ପରାସ୍ତ ହବେେ। ମାତ୍ର ଇଦୋମ, ମାୟୋବ ଓ ଅମାନେ ଓ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ଅଧିପତି ତାଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରୁ ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇବେ।

ଅନକେ ଦିନ ପ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଅସ୍ତ୍ର ପାଇଁ ନିବଦନେ କରାୟିବ। ପରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ବର୍ଷମାନଙ୍କ ରେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧରୁ ପୂର୍ବାବସ୍ଥାକୁ ଫରେୁଥିବା ଦେଶମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରିବ, ଯାହାର ବହୁ ଦେଶରୁ ଲୋକମାନେ ପର୍ବତ ଉପ ରେ ଏକତ୍ରୀତ ହାଇେଛନ୍ତି। ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଅତୀତ ରେ ବାରମ୍ବାର ବିଧ୍ବସ୍ତ ହାଇେଥିଲେ କିନ୍ତୁ ଦେଶଗୁଡ଼ିକରୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଅଣାୟାଇଛି ଏବଂ ସମାନେେ ସମସ୍ତେ ସଠାେ ରେ ନିରାପଦ ରେ ବାସ କରୁଛନ୍ତି।
ଦାନିଏଲ 8:9
ତା'ପ ରେ ସହେି ଶିଙ୍ଗଗୁଡିକୁ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ କ୍ଷୁଦ୍ର ଶିଙ୍ଗଟି ଦକ୍ଷିଣ, ପୂର୍ବ ଓ ରମ୍ଯଦେଶ ଆଡକୁ ବଢିଲା।

ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଶର ରାଜା ନିଜ ଇଚ୍ଛାନୁସା ରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବ। ତା'ର ବିପକ୍ଷ ରେ କହେି ଠିଆ ହବେେ ନାହିଁ। ଆଉ ସେ ସହେି ପବିତ୍ର ଦେଶ ରେ ଠିଆ ହବେ ଓ ତାହା ହସ୍ତ ରେ ବିନାଶର ଶକ୍ତି ରହିବ।

ଏବଂ ସେ ସାଗର ଓ ରମ୍ଯ ପବିତ୍ର ପର୍ବତର ମଧିଅରେ ଆପଣା ରାଜକୀଯ ତମ୍ବୁ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବ। ଆଉ ତାହାର ଅନ୍ତିମ କାଳ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହବେ ଓ କହେି ତାହାକୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ।'
