ଦାନିଏଲ 1:19
ରାଜା ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସହିତ ଆଳାପ କଲେ। ଆଉ ସେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ଦାନିୟେଲ, ହନାନିଯ, ମୀଶାଯଲେ ଓ ଅସରିଯ ଅଧିକ ଦକ୍ଷ ଜଣା ଗଲେ। ତେଣୁ ସମାନେେ ରାଜାଙ୍କର ଦାସ ହେଲେ।

| like Daniel, | כְּדָנִיֵּ֣אל | kĕdāniyyēl | keh-da-nee-YALE |
| Hananiah, | חֲנַנְיָ֔ה | ḥănanyâ | huh-nahn-YA |
| Mishael, | מִֽישָׁאֵ֖ל | mîšāʾēl | mee-sha-ALE |
| and Azariah: | וַעֲזַרְיָ֑ה | waʿăzaryâ | va-uh-zahr-YA |
| stood therefore | וַיַּֽעַמְד֖וּ | wayyaʿamdû | va-ya-am-DOO |
| they before | לִפְנֵ֥י | lipnê | leef-NAY |
| the king. | הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ | hammelek | ha-MEH-lek |
