2 Chronicles 29:24
ଛାଗମାନଙ୍କର ରକ୍ତକୁ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ଉପରେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରି ଯାଜକମାନେ ପାପାର୍ଥକ ବଳି ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କଲେ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଯେପରି ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମନଙ୍କର ପାପସବୁ କ୍ଷମା କରନ୍ତି, ଏଥିନିମନ୍ତେ ସମାନେେ ଏହିପରି କଲେ। ରାଜା କହିଲେ ଯେ, ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ହାମବେଳି ଉପହାର ଓ ପାପାର୍ଥକ ବଳି ଏକତ୍ର ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରାୟିବା ଉଚିତ୍।

ମାେ କହିବା ଅର୍ଥ ଯେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ଶତୃ ହାଇେଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ଯ, ସେ ନିଜ ପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ଯୁ ଦ୍ବାରା ଆମ୍ଭ ସହିତ ବନ୍ଧୁତା ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ସେଥିପାଇଁ ଏବେ ଯେ ହତେୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ମିତ୍ର, ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତାଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କ ଜୀବନ ମାଧ୍ଯମ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ଭାବରେ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବେ।
ଦାନିଏଲ 9:24
ହେ ଦାନିୟେଲ, ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସତୁରି ସପ୍ତାହ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପବିତ୍ର ନଗର ପାଇଁ ନିରୂପଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଏ ସତୁରି ସପ୍ତାହ ନିରୂପଣ ହବୋର ଲକ୍ଷ୍ଯ ଦେଉଛି, ଆଜ୍ଞା ଲଙ୍ଘନରୁ ଏବଂ ପାପରୁ ବିରତ ହବୋ। ଏହାର ଲକ୍ଷ୍ଯ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରାଯଶ୍ଚିତ କରିବା ଏବଂ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳସ୍ଥାଯୀ ଧାର୍ମିକତା ଓ ପ୍ରମାଣିକତା ଦର୍ଶନଗୁଡିକ ଓ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବାଣୀ ଓ ପବିତ୍ରସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବା। ଏହା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ଯ କରେ।

ଆଉ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଭଲ ଜଳ ହାଇେଥିବା ଚାରଣଭୂମି ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ପଲର 200 ମଷେ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଏକ ମଷେ ଦବେ। ତାହା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ବିଶଷେ ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ ହବେ।

ମାତ୍ର ପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ପ୍ରାଯଶ୍ଚିତ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯଦି କୌଣସି ପାପାର୍ଥକ ବଳିର ରକ୍ତ ସମାଗମ ତମ୍ବୁ ଭିତରକୁ ଅଣାୟାଏ, ତବେେ ସହେି ପାପାର୍ଥକ ବଳି ନିଶ୍ଚଯ ଭୋଜନ କରାୟିବା ଉଚିତ୍ ନୁହେଁ। ତାହା ସମ୍ପୁର୍ଣ୍ଣରୂପେ ଅଗ୍ନି ରେ ଦଗ୍ଧ କରାୟିବା ଉଚିତ୍।
