ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଡାହାଣ ହାତଟି ତୁମ୍ଭ ପାପର କାରଣ ହୁଏ, ତାକୁ କାଟି ଫିଙ୍ଗି ଦିଅ। କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଶରୀର ନର୍କ ରେ ପଡିବା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଶରୀରର ଗୋଟିଏ ଅଙ୍ଗ ନଷ୍ଟ ହାଇଯେିବା ଭଲ।

କିନ୍ତୁ ମାଠାେ ରେ ବିଶ୍ବାସ ରଖିଥିବା ଏହି ନମ୍ର େଛାଟ ପିଲାମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ କାହାରିକୁ ପାପ ପଥରେ ଯଦି କହେି ଟାଣିନିଏ, ତାହା ହେଲେ ସହେି ଲୋକର ବକରେେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଚକି ପଥର ବାନ୍ଧି ଗଭୀର ସମୁଦ୍ର ରେ ତାକୁ ବୁଡ଼ଇେ ଦିଆୟିବ।

ଯୀଶୁ ବୁଲିପଡି ପିତରଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଶୟତାନ! ମାେ ପାଖରୁ ଚାଲିଯାଅ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେ ପାଇଁ ଗୋଟିଏ ବିଘ୍ନ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନିୟମକୁ ଖାତିର୍ କରୁନାହଁ। ଲୋକମାନେ ଯାହାକୁ ସହତ୍ତ୍ବପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବୋଲି ଭାବନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ସହେିଭଳି ଭାବୁଛ।
Matthew 13:21
କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ନିଜ ଭିତ ରେ ଶିକ୍ଷାକୁ ଦୃଢ ହବୋକୁ ଦିଏ ନାହିଁ,କବଳେ କିଛି ସମୟ ପାଇଁ ସେ ଶିକ୍ଷାକୁ ଆପଣା ହୃଦୟ ରେ ରଖିଥାଏ। ଯେତବେେଳେ ସୁସମାଚାର ଯୋଗୁଁ ସେ ଦୁଃଖକଷ୍ଟ ଓ ଯାତନା ପାଏ, ସେ ତିଷ୍ଠି ପା ରେ ନାହିଁ। ସେ ଖୁବ୍ ଶୀଘ୍ର ସଗେୁଡିକୁ ଛାଡିଦିଏ।
Matthew 11:6
ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ମାେତେ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରେ, ସେ ଧନ୍ଯ।
