ୟିହୂଦା ଦେଖିଲା ଯେ, ସମାନେେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ବଧ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସ୍ଥିର କରିଛନ୍ତି। ୟିହୂଦାହିଁ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଶତୃମାନଙ୍କ ହାତ ରେ ଦଇେ ଦଇେଥିଲା। ତେଣୁ ସେ ଏସବୁ ଘଟଣା ଦେଖି ନିଜର କର୍ମ ପାଇଁ ବହୁତ ଦୁଃଖ କଲା। ସେ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଯାଜକ ଓ ପ୍ରାଚ଼ୀନ ନେତାମାନଙ୍କୁ ସହେି ତିରିଶଟି ରେ ୗପ୍ୟମୁଦ୍ରା ଫରୋଇ ଦଲୋ।

ଯୀଶୁ ଏହି କଥା କହୁଥିବା ସମୟରେ ୟିହୂଦା ସଠାେକୁ ଆସିଲା। ସେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କର ବାରଜଣ ଶିଷ୍ଯଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଜଣେ ଥିଲା। ୟିହୂଦା ଙ୍କ ସହିତ ମଧ୍ଯ ଅନକେ ଲୋକ ଥିଲେ। ୟିହୂଦା ଓ ସହେି ଲୋକମାନେ ଖଣ୍ଡା ଓ ଠେଙ୍ଗା ଧରିଥିଲେ। ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଯାଜକ ଓ ପ୍ରାଚୀନମାନେ ପଠାଇଥିଲେ।
