ଯୀଶୁ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଶିଷ୍ଯମାନେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ପାଖାପାଖି ଆସି ଯାଇଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ପ୍ରଥମେ ଜୀତ ପର୍ବତ ପାଖ ବୌଥ୍ଫାଗୀଠା ରେ ଅଟକିଲେ।

ସହେି ଦିନଗୁଡିକରେ ଯୀଶୁ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ମନ୍ଦିର ରେ ଉପଦେଶ ଦେଉଥିଲେ। ରାତ୍ରିକାଳ ରେ ସେ ନଗର ବାହାରକୁ ଚାଲି ଯାଉଥିଲେ ଓ ସାରା ରାତି ଜୀତ ପର୍ବତ ଉପରେ କଟାଉଥିଲେ।

ଯୀଶୁ ଯୀରୂଶାଲମ ନଗର ଛାଡି ଜୀତପର୍ବତ ଉପରକୁ ଗଲେ। ସେ ଏପରି ଅଧିକାଂଶ ସମୟରେ କରୁଥିଲେ। ତାହାଙ୍କର ଶିଷ୍ଯମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଗଲେ।
