ଯୀଶୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ, ସାବଧାନ ରୁହ। ଫାରୂଶୀ ଓ ସାଦ୍ଦୂକୀମାନଙ୍କ ଖମୀରରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ରକ୍ଷା କର।

ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ଯେ କୌଣସି ଶସ୍ଯ-ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ ଆଣିବ, ତାହା ତାଡିଶୂନ୍ଯ ହବୋ ଉଚିତ୍। ତୁମ୍ବମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ ରୂପେ ତାଡି କି ମଧୁ କବେେ ଦଗ୍ଧ କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍ ନୁହେଁ।

ତା'ପରେ ସମାନେେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ କଥାର ଅର୍ଥ ବୁଝିଗଲେ। ରୋଟୀ ରେ ବ୍ଯବହାର କରା ଯାଉଥିବା ଖମୀରର କୁପ୍ରଭାବରୁ ସାବଧାନ ରହିବା ବିଷୟ ରେ ଯୀଶୁ କହୁନଥିଲେ। ମାତ୍ର ଫାରୂଶୀ ଓ ସାଦ୍ଦୂକୀମାନଙ୍କର ଉପଦେଶଠାରୁ ସାବଧାନ ରହିବାକୁ ସେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହୁଥିଲେ।
