ଯୀଶୁ ସଠାେରେ ଚାଳିଶ ଦିନ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଉପବାସ ପାର୍ଥନା ସହିତ ରହିଲେ। ସଠାେରେ ସେ ଶୟତାନ ଦ୍ବାରା ପରୀକ୍ଷିତ ହେଲେ। ତା'ପରେ ସ୍ବର୍ଗଦୂତମାନେ ଆସି ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କର ସବୋ କଲେ।

ଆଉ ଚାଳିଶ ଦିନ ଓ ଚାଳିଶ ରାତ୍ରିର ଶଷେ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସହେି ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଇ ପ୍ରସ୍ତରଫଳକ, ଅର୍ଥାତ ନିଯମର ପ୍ରସ୍ତରଫଳକ ମାେତେ ଦେଲେ।
