Leviticus 5:10
ତା'ପରେ ଯାଜକ ବିଧି ଅନୁସାରେ ଦ୍ବିତୀୟ ପକ୍ଷୀକୁ ହାମବେଳି ରୂପେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବ। ଏହିରୂପେ ସେ ତା'ର କୃତ ପାପ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯାଜକ ଦ୍ବାରା ପ୍ରାଯଶ୍ଚିତ ପ୍ରପ୍ତ ହବେ ଏବଂ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତାକୁ କ୍ଷମା କରିବେ।

ପୁଣି ସହେି ପାପାର୍ଥକ ନବୈେଦ୍ଯର ଗୋବତ୍ସକୁ ଯେପରି କଲ, ଏହାକୁ ସହେିପରି କରିବ। ଏହିପରି ଯାଜକ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରାଯଶ୍ଚିତ କରିବ। ତା' ହେଲେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ଲୋକ କ୍ଷମାପା୍ରପ୍ତ ହବେେ।
Leviticus 5:16
ପୁଣି ପବିତ୍ର ବସ୍ତୁ ବିଷଯ ରେ ସେ ଯେଉଁ ପାପ କରିଅଛି ତାହା ପରିଶାଧେ କରିବ। ଏହା ବ୍ଯତୀତ ଏକ ପଞ୍ଚମାଂଶ ଯାଜକକୁ ଦବେ, ତହୁଁ ଯାଜକ ଦୋଷାର୍ଥକ ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ ଦ୍ବାରା ତା'ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରାଯଶ୍ଚିତ କରିବ, ତହିଁରେ ସେ କ୍ଷମା ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହବେ।

ତହୁଁ ସେ ତା'ର କୃତ ପାପର ପ୍ରାଯଶ୍ଚିତ ପାଇଁ ପାପାର୍ଥକ ବଳିଦାନ ରୂପେ ପଲରୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ମାଈ ମେଣ୍ଢାଛୁଆ କିମ୍ବା ମାଈ ଛଳେିଛୁଆ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଛାମୁକୁ ଆଣିବ। ତା'ପରେ ଯାଜକ ତା'ର କୃତ ପାପର ପ୍ରାଯଶ୍ଚିତ କରାଇବ।
