Leviticus 22:2
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ହାରୋଣଙ୍କୁ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ରଗଣଙ୍କୁ କୁହ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ପବିତ୍ରୀକୃତ ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯ ବିଷଯ ରେ ସାବଧାନ ହୁଅ, ସହେି ପବିତ୍ର ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯ ମାେ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗୀକୃତ। ତେଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯାଜକମାନେ ତାକୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବ ନାହିଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସେସବୁ ବ୍ଯବହାର କରି ଆମ୍ଭ ନାମ ରେ ଅପବିତ୍ର କର ନାହିଁ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅଟୁ।

ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିଜ ବଂଶଜାତ କାହାକୁ ହିଁ ମାେଲକ୍ ଦବେତାର ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗୀତ ହବୋକୁ ଦବୋ ଉଚିତ୍ ନୁହଁ, କିମ୍ବା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପବିତ୍ର ନାମକୁ କଳିଷିତ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ କରିବ ନାହିଁ। ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅଟେ।
Numbers 18:32
ଆଉ ସହେି ଉତ୍ତମ ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯ ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ ରୂପେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କଲେ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କୌଣସି ପାପ ବହନ କରିବ ନାହିଁ। ପୁଣି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯେପରି ନ ମରିବ ସେଥିପାଇଁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ପବିତ୍ର ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯ ଅପବିତ୍ର କରିବ ନାହିଁ।

ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭର ପବିତ୍ର ନାମ ଅପବିତ୍ର କରିବ ନାହିଁ, ମାତ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ମଧିଅରେ ପବତ୍ରରୂପେ ମାନ୍ଯ ହବୋ।

ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭ ନାମ ନଇେ ମିଥ୍ଯା ରାଣ କରିବ ନାହିଁ। ତାହାହେଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆପଣା ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନାମ ଅପବିତ୍ର କରିବ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ।

ଏହା ହାରୋଣର କପାଳ ଉପରେ ରହିବ। ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରୁଥିବା ପବିତ୍ର ଉପହାର ପାଇଁ ହାରୋଣ ଦାଯୀ ହବେ। ଏହା ସର୍ବଦା ତା'ର କପାଳ ରେ ରହିବ, ଯାହା ଫଳ ରେ ସହେି ଉପହାରଟି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଗ୍ରହଣୀଯ ହବେ।

ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରଥମଜାତ ପୁତ୍ରକୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଗୋରୁଗାଈମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଥମଜାତ ପୁଂପଶୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଦବୋ ଉଚିତ୍।

ତୁମ୍ଭର ସମସ୍ତ ବଂଶଧରମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ କହେି ଯଦି ସେ ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯକୁ ଛୁଁଏ ସେ ଲୋକ ଅପବିତ୍ର ହବେ ଓ ସେ ମାଠାରୁେ ପୃଥକ୍ ରହିବ। କାରଣ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ଆମ୍ଭ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ସେ ସବୁ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଆମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅଟୁ।
Leviticus 21:6
ସମାନେେ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପବିତ୍ର ହବେେ। ସମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନାମକୁ ଅପବିତ୍ର କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍ ନୁହେଁ। କାରଣ ସମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଉପହାର ଦିଅନ୍ତି। ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ସମାନେେ ଦିଅନ୍ତି। ତେଣୁ ସମାନେେ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ ପବିତ୍ର ହବୋ ଉଚିତ୍।
Leviticus 20:3
ମୁଁ ମଧ୍ଯ ତା' ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଛିଡା ହବେି। ତା'ର ଦେଶର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ପୃଥକ୍ ରଖିବି। କାରଣ ସେ ମାରେ ପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଅପବିତ୍ର କରିଛି ଓ ମାରେ ପବିତ୍ର ନାମକୁ ଅପବିତ୍ର କରିବାକୁ ମାେଲକ୍ ଦବେତା ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ନିଜର ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଇେଅଛି।
Leviticus 15:31
ଏଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ସନ୍ତନଗଣଙ୍କୁ ଅଶୁଚି ବିଷଯ ରେ ସତର୍କ କରିଦବେ। ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ବିଧି ବିଷଯ ରେ ନଜଣାଇବ, ତବେେ ସମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭର ପବିତ୍ର ତମ୍ବୁକୁ ଅଶୁଚି କରି ଦବେେ। ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସମାନେେ ମୃତ୍ଯୁବରଣ କରିବେ।
