ଏଣୁ ଦାନ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗ ସହେି ଖୋଦିତ ପ୍ରତିମା ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ସ୍ଥାପନ କଲେ। ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଯାଜକରୂପେ ସମାନେେ ମାଶାଙ୍କେର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ଗେର୍ଶୋନ ବଂଶଧର ଯୋନାଥନକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ନିୟକ୍ସ୍ଟକ୍ତି କଲେ। ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନେ ନିର୍ବାସିତ ହବୋ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଯୋନାଥନ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ରମାନେ ଦାନ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର ଯାଜକ ହାଇେ ରହିଲେ।

ମୀଖା ସହେି 1,100 ଖଣ୍ତ ରୂପା ତାଙ୍କର ମା'ଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଫରୋଇ ଦେଲେ। ଏହାପରେ ତାଙ୍କର ମା ତାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ମୁ ସହେି ରୂପା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏକ ବିଶଷେ ଉପହାର ଅର୍ପଣ କରିଛି। ମୁ ଏହା ମାରେପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଦବେି, ଯାହାଫଳ ରେ ସେ ଏକ ମୂର୍ତ୍ତି କରି ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ରୂପା ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କରିପାରିବ। ଏଣୁ ଏବେ ମୁ ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଫରୋଇ ଦବେି।

Deuteronomy 31:16

ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କୌଣସି ପ୍ରତିମା ପୂଜା କରିବ ନାହିଁ, କି ସ୍ବର୍ଗ ରେ କିମ୍ବା ପୃଥିବୀ ରେ କିମ୍ବା ପୃଥିବୀ ନୀଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥ ଜଳ ରେ କୌଣସି ମୂର୍ତ୍ତି ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍ ନୁହଁ।
