ଅଯର ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ଓ ବୈଥଲରେ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟ ସୈନ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କ ପଛ ରେ ଗୋଡଇ ଥିଲେ। ନଗର ରେ କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ନଥିଲେ ଯକେି ନଗରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ରକ୍ଷା କରି ପାରିବେ।

ତେଣୁ ଯିହାଶୂେୟ ତାଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ସୈନ୍ଯ ଦଳ ଅଯକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରିବାକୁ ଆଗଇେ ନେଲେ। ଏହାପରେ ଯିହାଶୂେୟ ତାଙ୍କର 30,000 ନିପୂଣ ୈସନ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିଛିଲେ। ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ସହେି ରାତ୍ରି ରେ ପଠାଇ ଦେଲେ।

ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ସମୟରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସୈନିକମାନେ ଅଯ ସୈନ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କ ପଛ ରେ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇ କ୍ଷତେ ଓ ମରକ୍ସ୍ଟଭୂମି ଅଞ୍ଚଳକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆଣିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ସହେିଠା ରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ହତ୍ଯା କଲେ। ଏହାପରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ସୈନ୍ଯମାନେ ଅଯକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଫରେି ଆସିଲେ ଏବଂ ଏଯ ସହର ରେ ଜୀବିତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ୈସନ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ଯା କଲେ।

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ହୃଦଯ କଠିନ କଲେ। ଯେପରି ସମାନେେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ବିପକ୍ଷ ରେ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଆସିବେ ଓ ସଂପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣରୂପେ ବିନା କରୁଣା ରେ ଧ୍ବଂସ ହବେେ। ଏହା ମାଶାଙ୍କେକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଆଜ୍ଞାନକ୍ସ୍ଟସା ରେ ହେଲା।
